The American Place Theater – Literature To Life program presents The Brief Wondrous Life Of Oscar Wao (Performed by Elvis Nolasco and adapted/directed by Elise Thoron)–the masterfully told Pulitzer Prize-winning epic novel by Junot Diaz that chronicles the life of Oscar de Leon, an overweight Dominican boy growing up in Patterson, New Jersey who is obsessed with science fiction novels, falling in love, and the curse that has plagued his family for generations.
