A Washington Heights native Ron Renaissance performed in over 30 countries before the age of 25. He is an artist whose work transcends multiple musical genres. If he’s not singing, producing, composing, or playing his trombone you can bet your money he’s tearing up the dance floor.
“Let’s Run Away” is the first single of his debut solo album Renaissance Repertoire Vol. 1 which is due to be released later this year. The video for the single was filmed entirely in Havana, Cuba and was produced and directed by Ron. Even though he’s performed in hundreds of venues all around the world as an artist one of his main influences is Latin music and dance, to be able to go to the island where a lot of the rhythms that he loves came from was a life-changing experience.
