Trópico de Sangre update: Shortly after our posting on Friday, the tickets sold out. Sorry folks but I let you all know to snatch them up quickly. Anyway, the 2010 New York International Latino Film Festival will be hosting a free screening of El Espiritu de la Salsa tonight at St. Nicholas Park (135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue). The movie is about a Salsa dance school and its students who come from all walks of life. If you miss the screening, HBO will be premiering the film on August 9th.
