The Urban Park Rangers will be opening up the Little Red Lighthouse to the public tomorrow, Saturday, August 14th from 1 to 4 PM. Come and visit this historic Uptown landmark, you get to go inside and walk up to the top and enjoy a magnificent vista. I took the tour 2 months ago and really enjoyed it. This event repeats on the 2nd Saturday of every month between 8/14/2010 and 10/9/2010.

Dear Led Black,
Would you know of an Inwood Blog/Bulletin Board where I could post a service?
I am trying to launch an Inwood Cooking Class/Meal Service, primarily for singles setting up their first kitchens and who are interested in learning to cook Healthy, Fast, and Economical meals. Classes would be conducted in a client’s apartment at very little cost over the cost of the ingredients. These classes would also be appropriate for small parties of friends to learn together — printed materials would be provided.
My service would also be appropriate for older, retired people.
People in the neighborhood know me by sight as, prior to two open-heart surgeries, I sold grass-fed beef at the Inwood Farmers Market. I am also the woman who continues to clean Cooper Street (West 207 and Isham)every single day with a road crew picker.
Any suggestions as to where I could post my service?
Thank you for your consideration.
