This occurred this morning at 10 am on Cabrini BLVD near the entrance to Fort Tryon Park. While the car was not the regulation 15ft away from a hydrant it was far enough that it was not necessary to tow. Taking someone’s car during these perilous times is unconscionable.
Some poor soul, when they find out their car was towed, will have to shell out a few hundreds bucks just to get it back. This is tough in regular times but during a pandemic.
