Brunch season is upon us ladies and gentlemen. Time to dine and imbibe like you’re the proverbial prince of Zamunda. Enter Cove Lounge (325 Malcolm X Blvd), which recently introduced some stellar additions to their already impressive brunch menu. Chef Harold Breton works his magic and amazes with his wide-ranging culinary expertise for a solid brunch menu that is delectable, expansive and exudes authenticity. Case in point: the jerk wings with the bun and cheese as an innovative and crafty accoutrement. Sublime, smoky and spicy, you really can’t go wrong with these scrumptious jerk wings. Another stand out is the Cove Vegan Burger. This is a vegan burger made with meat lovers in mind. New to the brunch menu is the Crab Benedict, which is downright delicious. The same goes for their Harlem take on Chicken and Waffles. On the mixology front, Cove also introduced some new and outstanding cocktail selections. My favorites are the Uptown Otterhound featuring Slaine Whiskey and Honey Cove made with Jack Daniels Honey. So there you have it folks, hit up Cove Lounge ASAP and tell them the Uptown Collective sent you. Cove Lounge brunch returns this Sunday, Mother’s Day and continues through the early fall.
