Uptown Stories believes that writing is an essential tool for self-expression, critical thinking, and academic success. Based in upper Manhattan, their not-for-profit program offers small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors. Uptown Stories tries to ensure their programs are accessible to all children by making tuition pay-what-you-can.
