Tonight we will storm the palace. We will storm the palace as a community united as one in the belief that the arts is our very lifeblood. That the arts in all of their wonderful incarnations must be valued, nourished and sustained. Especially in places like Washington Heights, Inwood and Harlem. It is undeserved communities such as as ours, who as we speak are being rocked and transformed by the forces of gentrification, global capital and income inequality, that needs the arts the most. That is what the People’s Theater Project (PTP) has been doing since 2009. Creating community and empowering people of all ages to tell their stories and to come together to make the world a better place one Uptown block at a time. Please join us tonight in fighting the good fight and supporting the all important work of the People’s Theatre Project.
