Today is also the last day of the Bread And Yoga Holiday Market (5000 Broadway) so make sure you hit them up. Our good friend, Andrew Short of the 83 Mark Collective, will have a limited amount of the UC tees as well as his own awesome collection.

If caroling is your thing, join a group of carolers today at 3 pm as they take a jolly jaunt through Harlem. Singer or enthusiast, all are welcome. Sheet music will be provided so grab a friend and join. Meeting at 3 pm at 135th & Malcolm X Blvd. in front of Harlem Hospital. Caroling route: BEGIN 135th & Malcolm X Blvd. and sing along the way to 125th street & Malcolm X Blvd., will FINISH at Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building. Shout out to the incredibly talented Peter Cooper for putting this together.

Also the great folks at the WHIN Music Project have their 2nd Annual El Sistema NY/NJ Showcase at El Museo del Barrio at 4pm. The affair will be an exciting and inspiring performance by over 100 children from 4 El Sistema programs in NY and NJ, including a representation of the Northern Manhattan communities by the WHIN Children’s Choir.
And on Sunday, the United Palace will host a screening of “It’s A Wonderful Life” with an introduction by Donna Reed’s daughter Mary Owen. Come early and warm up in the Palace foyer with hot apple cider and caroling by local vocalists. Raffle items will benefit “The Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts.” Before the movie there will also be an audience sing-a-long and a surprise stage show. Doors open at 5 pm with stage show and discussion at 5:30 and the movie will begin at 6 pm.
