The College Academy Dream Team over the last two weeks went through a two week bootcamp in preparation for the first ever Dream Convention. The convention took place on October 26th at NYU.
The Dream Team is a group of 20 students asked to transform the culture of the school. The Dream Director for TCA, Lamarr Womble said, “TCA is great school but the students, faculty and administration are striving for greatness and the Dream Team is a big part of this!”
The first challenge from their Dream Director was planning and executing the schools first Homecoming Week! This included crowning the first ever Dreamer and Dreamstress of TCA. Two students who are happy, influential, passion pursuing and dreamers. They also delivered a $400 check to the football coach as well for the money we raised. In addition, they promoted attendance at the Homecoming football game on October 26th.
