Since 1985, The Imagen Awards has been honoring the best portrayals of Latinos and Latino culture on television and in film. Well, guess what folks? Trouble In The Heights is nominated for Best Feature Film. It’s get better, Uptown’s own, Rayniel Rufino, and the protagonist in Trouble In The Heights, is up for the Best Actor/Supporting Actor in a Feature Film award. That to me is a cause for celebration. Like I have said in the past, 2013 is the year of Washington Heights. If you have not seen the movie, please make it your business to get your hand on a legit, non-bootlegged copy. You know the motto, “Spread Love It’s The Uptown Way!”
