The good folks at WHAM have a big event planned for Tuesday, June 3rd at the beloved Shabazz Center (3940 Broadway). There will be performances by Audubon, Will Glass, The Machine and other heights and NYC based artists. All ages welcome. The event is being held to raise funds for a new arts program for youth in collaboration with Growth and Development Services. All proceeds go towards this goal. Children are $5, Adults advance tickets $10 , $15 at the door. Also a panel discussion with panelists including Dister Rondon, Zenaida Mendez discussing Independence in our community.
