Last week, the Uptown Collective had the honor of being in attendance for an intimate cocktail party to honor Emily B of Love and Hip-Hop thrown by the good folks at Pynk Magazine, Alisa Maria Collections and OR-G Liqueur. In addition to being a bonafide reality TV star, Emily Bustamante is one of the most respected and sought after fashion stylists in the entertainment business and has been for some time now. Emily has an impressive list of clients that include some of the biggest names in music, television and sports today. The icing on the cake is that Emily is also an Uptown girl. Hailing originally from the Heights, Emily still has family in the neighborhood and visits often. Emily is super cool and down to earth and her eyes lit up when we started to talk about the Heights.
