Save The Date: TEDx Washington Heights On Monday, October 24th

TEDx Washington Heights, a premiere event organized by NGLC and sponsored by Telemundo, is coming to New York City’s The Hispanic Society of America on Monday, October 24, 2011. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Five dynamic Latino thought leaders combined with TEDTalks videos will be featured throughout the event that is intended spark deep discussion and connection among those who attend. Similar to TED, an organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, each of the following TEDx Washington Heights speakers will be asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes.

TEDx Washington Heights is a half-day event hosted by The Hispanic Society of America located at 155thand Broadway in New York City. Registration begins at 1pm followed by the main event and cocktail reception.  Attendance is limited to an intimate group of 100 people.
