Like I have said before, there is power in patronage. If you want the arts in general and theatre in particular to flourish Uptown, then you have to support these types of endeavors. It is that simple. With that said, Let Me In! Déjame Entrar! premieres tonight at 7:30pm at the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood (54 Nagle Ave) and at 7:30pm on Feb. 16th at the Columbia University Alumni Auditorium, 650 West 168th Street. Admission is Pay-What-You-Can. This timely play tackles the tumultuous issues of immigration and discrimination. A huge shout out goes out to Jose Morales of Apt 78 (4447 Broadway) for putting together this event for the cast and crew of this groundbreaking production.
