A popular monthly networking brunch kicks off 2011 with its first event at Apartment 78, the hottest new café and bar in Inwood!
The Bago Brunch
Saturday, January 15, 2011
Since March 2010, the Bago Brunch has been a monthly function at restaurants through out Uptown Manhattan. The brunch has been dedicated to bringing together professionals who work in the arts, entertainment, music, publishing, media, marketing, or film industries. It has been a success at bringing together the movers, shakers, and tastemakers of various industries in a laid back and intimate setting. This truly unique networking event was created by Juan Bago, Frank Nibbs, and Paola Soto. More than eighty professionals have attended at least one of the Bago events. The brunch was started with the hopes to pair individuals with the talents and skills to make great projects. Thus far, the group has been able to achieve their aim. One out of the many connections that were made at the brunch lead to the production of a viral video directed by Rik Cordero for Lemon Andersen’s poem, The Imperial.
