The advent of age comes with many things: the accumulation of memories, wisdom, and an ability to take the long view in many situations.

It can also sometimes take some of the cognitive and physical vitality that allows for simple routines to be executed seamlessly.

An innovative program available locally is aimed at addressing some of the concerns of aging individuals and their families and looking to keep seniors active, engaged and involved to make for a better quality of life.

VNSNY CHOICE, an affiliate of the non-for-profit health organization Visiting Nurse Services of New York, has deployed a home visiting nurse service in which the providers of care engage in many different activities and efforts specifically intended to keep seniors sharp and healthy.
