Like I have said before, this year’s New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF), which kicks off on Monday, August 15th will be the biggest ever. The NYILFF has a killer lineup of movies, documentaries and short films. Speaking of which, Uptown is well represented in the 12th annual iteration of the NYLIFF with the feature length GWB as well two short films, one by Juan Bago An Act of Love and the other Crush by Dominic Colón. To start things off right, NYLIFF is hosting a free outdoor screening of To Be Heard at St. Nicholas Park. If you haven’t purchased your tickets for this amazing host of movies, you better get on it before it’s too late.
