A Toast To Fort Tryon Park: Benefit Wine Tasting Soiree

The annual A Toast to Fort Tryon Park wine tasting soiree is this Thursday. I went last year and had a truly awesome time. It is not everyday that one can imbibe from an impressive selection of wines, courtesy of Cabrini Wines, while at the same time contributing to an important local cause, helping to maintain the majestic Fort Tryon Park in tip top shape. All proceeds support Fort Tryon Park restoration, horticultural supplies, maintenance staff, free programs, special events, and improvements in the park. Restaurants from the Washington Heights Business Improvement District will supply the delectable fare for the festivities. In addition, local Jazz band, the Leonisa Ardizzone Trio, will provide the musical accompaniment for the evening. Great wine, great food and a great cause, what more could you ask for? See you there.
