Uptown sneaker heads rejoice. Thanks to brothers, Aldo & Joel Espinal, Uptown sneaker fiends no longer have to trek downtown to get their fix. That’s right, Empire Fashion Boutique (4795 Broadway), not only has a steady supply of hard-to-find kicks like the black Jordan 3’s and the DJ Premiere AF1’s but they also carry such brands as The Hundreds, Crooks & Castles, Lipmo, 10 Deep and Undefeated among many others. The grand opening party this past Saturday was an absolute smash. Friends to the UC, The Original MamaJuana, supplied the libations and Dj Boy provided the soundtrack for the evening. Stop by Empire and show them some love for contributing to the beautiful and rich cultural, social and business mosaic Uptown is becoming.
